WORKSHOPS
I have over ten years of experience running individual and group classes, creative workshops, and artist studios. I work with both adults and children from a variety of cultures, backgrounds, and abilities, which is instrumental in my unique approach to nurturing people's individual creative potential. My workshops are a welcoming, peaceful space for you to be playful, be curious, be experimental, and to celebrate imperfections. I will encourage you to connect with the creative process whilst enjoying the therapeutic benefits of creativity.
MEDITATIVE MARK MAKING
My mark making workshops offer a safe, playful space to experiment and enjoy the calming and meditative qualities of mark making. Using nature as our inspiration I will work closely with you to explore, develop and nurture your own personal approach to making marks. I will share with you my unique processes and techniques which I have developed over many years of my own abstract expressionist art career. We shall begin using ink and calligraphy brushes, with the potential to move to other mediums.

BASKET WEAVING
Basket weaving is a meditative, therapeutic practice that encourages you to slow down and connect with your hands and heart. It's a practice that will remain a friend for life. I will share the skills and techniques of raffia basket weaving that were taught to me by traditional land owners of the central desert regions of Australia combined with the styles I have since developed. Raffia basket weaving is a creative practice with no pressure of how, when, what or why. Just one binding stitch after the other. It is a practice best created round an open fire, in nature but can be easily achieved anywhere.
